My moter was rebuilt ab 3mos ago on my 2002 pt curiser today I started it and it stall out on me after ab 20 second,I started it again and it did the same thing what can it be?

Ch. Best not to jump to conclusions, if the engine light is on, there is a trouble code which will probably tell why the vehicle stalled. Take vehicle into a good shop, have scanned for trouble codes, diagnosed and estimate for repair.

Flip Key on and back to off postion three times watch odmeter for code to flash

2.0 liter engine it is on the back side of cylinder head 4 bolts hold it on can be seen from drivers side of car.

when mine did that it was the alternator that needed to be replaced. Once I did that, it was good to go again.

Still Under Warranty. Take it to local/nearest Authorized Hyundai Service Department.

this is very simple you may have couple of fuses burn out on your Cherokee you could check your service Manuel for further instructions

This sounds like you have a ground problem with the fuel pump and sensor. This would
explain pretty much everything you are describing. Best to have a shop check it out
before you wind up stranded.
