Thes have a weak point with the pump in the tank. It is under a cap under the rear seat, get someone to turn the ignition on and listen if no noise give it a tap and see if it whirrs, slacken a pipe on the filter and see if there is pressure, if not the pumps are available from factors or on line.

306 hdi's have a common problem of fuel pumps not much else goes wrong with them.

i get trouble with lift pump under rear seat, main high pump, or the wires burn out, starts in fuse box first.

- me again, take out the fuel filter and look carefully for metal fillings under the filter, this confirms the pump is dead. if this is the case get back in touch and i tell you how to cure.Yes
