Tough job ahead for sure after the fire wiped out and makes you guess where to even start! 'alldata' repair info online is the best info available that I've seen. Don't know if it will have all you need, but you sign up for a vehicle for 1year (or longer) for access to the info and pics, diagrams, etc. The other option would be to try and find a junker of he same year and model, not easy, but it would have all the parts you need, and you would know where they go. Good luck.

sounds like you're wasting lots of cash. Check engine codes? take it to a shop and pay by returning all the unneeded parts? call a cab?
Please tell me you can use a multimeter and read a manual.

I have know by experience that if you cross plug wires you can get an engine extremely hot ive seen it also seen it hot enough to get the exhaust manifolds glowing red if they havent put their hands in it and corrected the problem i would check the firing order to make sure it was correct and that they didnt cross the plug wires.

1984 dodge w-150 a/t starts and runs good go down the road and it hardly wants to run sputtering do 3 mph replaced everything cap, rotor, plugs, wires, pcv valve, air cleaner, fuel filter, ballest risistor dont...

it sounds like the its not getting enough gas to stay running. try looking for vacum leaks with a propane torch going over all the vacum lines with the FLAME OUT but the troch on when it is idling. if the idle goes up at any time when the torch passes over a line than you have found your leak and replace the line. even if you have one line bad keep going over all of them. and if there is no vacum leaks than start the engine and let it idle for about ten minutes, shut the engine off and take all the plugs out. if any of them are wet with gas than you have a spark problem and then begin going over your cap, rotor, wires, and points.

I need to know where all the vacume lines go on a 1986 comanche 2.8l v6

Most vehicles have a diagram on the underside of the hood that shows the vacuum line routing. Just open your hood and look up!

88 Toy, 22R Carb, hard cold start

in your carburetor there is a priming passage. look in there with the air cleaner out and pump the butterfly it should squirt gas. if it doesn't then you need to open the top part of the carb and clean the hole with a hair clip. if this is not the problem it will be the choke but I'm 70 percent that this is the problem.
