No special tools as long as you buy a quality clutch kit that has a disc line up tool. these cars are come of the easiest i have done. you will need a 32mm socket for the CV axles (not a special tool, but fairly large for your average tool kit to have) a floor jack with a block of wood is needed to support the engine. other than that, very straight forward.

Rear brakes

If the emergency brake is built into the caliper this is something that will require special tools and knowledge to do it correctly. You wont save that much. Some shops will do a "pad slap" for cheap.

If it isn't and I am sorry as I don't remember, then no, you will not need any special tools besides some metric wrenches/sockets, a "c" clamp for compressing the calipers. once again, you would be better off finding a shop that will do a "pad slap" as the time you spend isn't worth the labor you'll save...

but you want a step by step, you tube has multiple videos pertaining to this subject and you can imagine how much typing would need to be done to explain what a 10 minute video will tell you

How much to replace a clutch on a 94 honda civic lx?

I think I once had a clutch replaced in a Honda for about $300 labor and $300 parts, but that was in the 1980s or 1990s. I'm sure it's more, nowadays, maybe $1000 total would be reasonable.

Air conditioning for car (Honda Civic 2000) had made a small grinding sound which progressively got louder then it sounded like something dislodged underneath the vehicle, but i did not see anyhing, after...

My 2000 did the same thing. It was a piece of the air conditioning compressor clutch. Hopefully you can just replace the clutch. If you have to replace the a/c compressor, clutch and drier your looking at $300 to $550 just in parts. Have it checked out. You need special tools to drain and fill the freon.

I have to replace a clutch in a 06 honda civic si and have no idea how if there is any way you could provide detailed instructions it would be great!!!

u need special tools and this kind of repair should be done by a mechanic. you have to raise the car up very high or.... by the way i know to just drop the transmission on that model of civic ,2000 year model on, you have to drop the cross member just to drop the transmission... if you are in the atlanta metro area, i know a shop that will the labor for no more than 100 dollars....any repair shop should charge between hundredish no more than 200 for the labor...do replace it soon though, you don't want to cause any unneeded damage to other parts...

Whats the best step by step book on replacing a clutch for a 1994 honda civic ex

There is a manual that will give you the factory directions in CD format on eBay. Here's the item # 250577544601 : Sells for $5.49 w/free shipping.

I've started using these instead of my manuals for quite a few cars & I really like them. With my laptop I can go to the car & pull up every single part & detail. And they are less expensive than the basic guides. They usually provide you with any programing info & specifications & details on every inch of the car. If you're not happy with the CD, ask for a refund.

Next to that a Chiltons Import manual or a Haynes specifically for the Civic.

good luck.
