What were the codes???
Try this, turn the ignition key to the on position and pull the ECM fuse out for 10 seconds, then place it back in and start the car.
The car may stall and let it, just restart it the second time and things should be fine. It's just the ECM leaning the Engine and Transmission.
The check engine light should be off and go for a test drive. If there is a problem the check engine light will go back on after you travel over i believe 5 MPH.
Re scan and replace or repair fault in drive train system.
The ECM fuse is in the fuse box, Look at the label behind the cover of the fuse box lid.
Good luck.
I believe the fuse is in the dash behind the side panel. There should be two ECM fuse. Pull the ECM Batt fuse, the label sticker should be on the back side of the fuse cover.
Good luck, and keep me informed.

Circuit Description
The PCM has the ability to monitor this process by using a rear Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S 2). The rear HO2S 2, located in the exhaust stream past the catalytic converter, produces an output signal relative to the oxygen storage capacity of the catalytic converter. The PCM then calculates the ability of the catalytic converter to convert the exhaust emissions effectively. Whenever the catalytic converter is functioning properly, the rear HO2S 2 signal will be far less active than the signal produced by the front Oxygen Sensor 1 (O2S 1).

Diagnostic Aids
Whenever the oxygen sensor pigtail wiring, connector or terminal are damaged, the entire oxygen sensor assembly must be replaced. Do not attempt to repair the wiring, connector or terminals. In order for the sensor to function properly, the O2S must have a clean air reference. This clean air reference is obtained by way of the oxygen sensor wires. Any attempt to repair the wires, connectors or terminals could result in the obstruction of the air reference and degrade the performance of the oxygen sensor. Check for the following conditions:

Yes the codes were reset.
Yes the codes were reset after the censors were replaced.
Guru,
I really appreciate your help. The original codes translated to the top O2 censors needed replaced so I replaced both of them. We will definitely try your suggestion. One more question please, can you tell me where this ECM fuse would be located?
Hello Guru,
We did look at both fuse boxes (under the hood and beside the dash) but none of the labels said "ECM". In the box beside the dash there was a fuse labeled O2 but that fuse was fine.
Any new codes show up now?
Did you reset the codes after replacing the sensors?
