2003 ford taurus 3.0 dohc intermitant motor hesitation and stall

Warm or cold car hesitates at slow speeds and at take off. Checked fuel pressure with scan tool. Within specs while running seems to build up over 50# + after shut down. Tried new fuel pressure sensor but same results.

Change the IAC the idle air control. You may be able to clean it and put it back on.

Code p0141 on ford Taurus 2003 dohc stalling randomly on cold start. warms up and drives fine. already replaced that senor. replaced plugs , wires, fuel filter, put fuel treatment, cleaned throttle body....

That code is for 02 heater circuit. Replacing the sensor may not fix it. I'd have to check voltage and ground for the heater circuit wiring. The voltage is fuse protected, red wire.

Engine skips after it gets warm

if it does not need a tuneup, then I would say to check the coolant tempurature sensor. if bad it will result in. poor cold idle, stalling, rich mixture and ******** timing, slow idle speed, cold hesitation, stumble, poor fuel milage. good-day! if need be. change plugs and wires first ! this could also be your problem.

Have a 1999 dodge dakota sport 4 wheel drive with a 5.2 liter motor 158,000 miles my problem is every 3 or 4 days when i go to start it it in the morning will not start after about 5 or 6 times cranking...

a vehicles crank shaft sensor sends a signal to computer, as to tell what revolution the crank is on. you may not get a check engine light. check injectors for leaking in to cylinders, it can cause an excess amount of fuel in cylinder. this may be causeing the no starts and flooding smell. if it starts good warm then check the injectors for leaking. good-luck!! you may also have a bad coolant tempurature sensor. symtoms of a bad cts are--poor cold idle, stalling, slow idle speed, cold hesitation or stumble, poor fuel milage. ( will also ****** timing). its hard to say with out being there, so check out above. good- luck!!

I have a 1996 Plym. Grand Voyager, hesitation & stalling.

If it works well at speed and acts up when slowing or stopped it doesn't sound like fuel filter or pump. You can try running injector cleaner through the engine to clean the carborator injectors or fuel injectors if you have those. Look at replacing the plugs and wires on the motor.
