97 dodge dakota
My 97 Dodge Dakota with the 3.9 will not start and is not showing any codes when I scan it. After I enter "erase codes", it will start and runs ok. I recently tuned it up (i.e., wires caps, plugs, inigtion coil, new catalytic converter, O2 sensors, and Cam Shaft Position sensor.) Before, I was getting aP0351 code and it was backfiring and stalling. Now I am not getting any codes, but having the problem first described.

- Fuel Pressure is per mfg specs.I am thinking it is more electrical, maybe a loose or dirty connection

- I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE 1997 DODGE DAKOTA 4 CYCLINDER. I CUPLE OF TIMES I WAS IN WHAT YOU WOULD SAY IS CLIMATE CHANGE FROM MORNING TO DAY.I WAS WAITING AROUND BOTH TIMES .CAR WAS PARKED AFTER JUST USING IT. IT STARTED AND THEN SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING IT.I BELIEVE IT'S THE CRANK SENSOR.I NOTICED THERE IS NO SPARK EACH TIME.PERHAPS A FAULTY COMPUTER PROBLEM BUT I REALLY THINK SENSOR. - MCTOW
