Its really a grand cherokee.!
TCM tranny puter.'
NAG1 (early and late) or 545RFE trans? there are 3.
i guess, you are trying to find it......
first off, go to alldata.com and look.
and all cars move the TCM , into the PCM , from 1997 to 2004 (aprox)
but this jeep 07

nag1 MTC, (module trans control) has C1 and C2,
RFE has. C4, 10 pages, on RFE and all show, C4 only.
not sure what that means.?

the TCM/MTC is not integrated in to the PCM. yet. on this year.
there are 2 modules on the RFE,
i highly recommend a real FSM.
or alldata.com

SOURCE: Where is the transmission control module (TCM) on

Hi.

This vehicle does not have a Transmission Control Module.
Transmission control is accomplished through the Engine Control Module or Powertrain Control Module.

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is located in the right-rear side of the engine compartment.

I hope this helps you.

TCM location jeep grand cherokee WJ 2,7 CRD

Disassemble the TCM and use magnifier to check the solderings of both plugs. If you can see any circles on the solderings then resolder them. You can resolder them for "just in case" as well. TCM is located on the right side of shifter assembly, near the passenger legs.

42/44RE auto trans, TCM?

read chapter 21. it covers the whole deal.
there is no PCM
like most cars , this era, they moved the TCM in to the confines
of the ECU , and renaming it PCM on that idea.
read page 21-6 carefully.

How to replace the torque converter in the transmission

did you scan to PCM to see if there are DTC errors from the TCM
the TCM is the logic that runs the transmission.
why assume it the TC or tranny, why not suspect engine misfire?
again scan it. (or get and engine tune,up, )

Dtc p0935

Dtc p0935 easy federal code P0.
first hit in google, google is your friend.
read that and then ask questions.
or you have tools ,and training, , you and read the FSM
the FSM discoverers this 100% .
or do this:
1: reset the ecu.
2: drive and see if it comes back.
or
3: get radio codes, RTM , if not the radio may brick on you, RTM.
4: the pull battery neg. lug for 5 minutes, some step on brake and shorten this time but not me i do both. I want 0volts to a puter brains in car. then you get a full reLearn.
5: then drive. see if comes back.

this is true with all DTCs, the hope thing.
reset
drive 20miles, and drive aggressively, (safely)
see? it it returns......

as you see the tranny dont like open loop (means future damage)
