You will want the factory service manual for the vehicle. You can contact your bmw dealer directly. If you would like I can try and locate one for you. Thanks, Lee
Check the display settings, try resetting your nav to factory settings if that didn't help, you have to visit the dealer due to programing issue or software issue. good luck
I suggest you try one of those instant download manuals. My brother ( a mechanic) buys it
when he can't fix some technical issue He buys from www.reliable-store.com . A lot of mechanics actually do this. Website is very good for this. Must try it !!
If you ever found an answer to your problem I would really appreciate the help. Mine just started doing the same thing today. The screen has lines on it but the sound works fine. 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Thanks
It is actually located behind the navigation screen.
Turn off the radio.
Press and hold the CD eject button until the display unlocks (about 10 to 15 seconds).
Let screen move outward and rotate downward.
Press the DVD eject button just exposed behind the display.
Remove DVD, insert new one.
Rotate display upwards and press gently on all four corners to slide and lock display back into original position.
Turn on radio, navigation DVD should start update process, let it finish.
