HOW DO I TELL IF MY DISTRIBUTOR IS 180 DEGREES OUT

You will have to turn the engine over so that the #1 piston is at top dead center on the compression stroke and then remove the distributor cap and check the firing order on the cap in relation to where the distributor rotor is pointing and the direction it turns when the engine is running

disconnect coil turn engine over till no 1cylinder is at top dead center note on dist cap where no.1 wire open cap look at where rotor is facing should be facing by no 1 wire
