Check the idle Air Control Valve...located near the throttle body, air intake plenum...remove the solenoid, spray out the housing with injector cleaner...wipe out after...should turn your rag black with carbon...pray the solenoid too and wipe clean...you can replace this solenoid for about $35. set itself when you drive over 35 mph...also check air filter...needs replaced every 12,000 miles...also add gas tank additive injector cleaner...STP super concentrated works great for me...Hope these inexpensive fixes work for your GP...

When the window is not used often or gets a little older the motor can "Hang Up" You might try having someone hold the down switch on the drivers door while you slam the door. This will sometimes jar the motor enough to make the brushes contact and start working.

Do you run short journeys?
A feature of modern engines is a load of smog gear which clogs up over time and use. Short trips don't allow full oil and water temp the chance to evaporate any moisture that enters when the engine cools at night. Lack of maintenance is generally a good starting point. Smog hoses clogged etc. You don't give the mileage or the type of use so its a bit of a guess. Have the ERG valves and hoses all checked.

1993 grand prix dying

provided you don't have a vacuum leak, (check all hoses for tightness and cracks with engine running) it's probably your idle air control valve or sensor.
