to remove a ball joint from a peugoet 106 is a nightmare.
you have to remove the complete wishbone then iether hammer it out of preffrably use a hydralic press.

-loosen wheel bolts.
-jack the car up (safely on axel stands)
-remove wheel.
-then thier is 2x m8 set screws which hold on the anti role bar bush
-then remove the single bolt which clamps the ball joint to the wheel hub, (completely remove it as it is in a channel of the ball joint)
-remove the bolt on the other side of the wishbone.

now for the hard bit, the final two bolts. theese you get access from inside the car.
-remove the rubber door seals. just give them a yank.
-pull off the steel clips which hold the carpet down
-then another handfull of plastic clips from the top of the footwell and the carpet should peel back. two reveel 2x m10 nuts. when these are removed the wish bone will drop to the floor.
(maybe with a tad of persuation from the ball joint to hub)

when the wish bone is removed you have two options. you can try and get it out yourself or take it to a garage and let them use the hydralic press.

as it is pressed in the best bet for removing it with out damage to the wishbone, find two large sockets one shich is larger then the ball join which the wishbone will sit on, and one socket that is smaller then the ball joint which you can place ontop of the ball joint, then get a decent size hammer. even a slegde, and give it a dap.

best of luck mate.
