The actual ignition switch is in the steering column underneath the ignition lock cylinder.
The switch is located under the dash near the bottom of the steering column, u will need to remove the 2 nuts securing the steering column to the dash and drop it down to access the switch, make sure you install the switch with the same adjustment as the old one. here is a picture of a switch for your car.
It should be located on the steering column,about 4-6 inches up from the firewall.you should be able to feel or see a rod going into it from the tumbler assy,it should be held on by 2-3 bolts and have a wire harness plugged into the side of it.
