Carefully remove window switche(s), open each switch one at a time and spray clean with electrical contact cleaner. You may also need to remove door panel and lubricate window guide and tracks.

I need to remove a rear door gllass on a lexus Gs

Remove rear door panel, reconnect power window switch, looking at bottom edge of glas you should see two 10mm bolts roll down window until bolts are accessible. Remove bolts and tilt window around 10 degrees top edge out/in. if still to tight to slide out put glass in lowest position and remove window frame weather stripping and it should slide right out the top, careful not to scratch tint.

My windows wont roll down on my lexus gs300 only the drivers one works

Hi if the drivers window works then this suggests the fuses are ok.

now the problem you are having is going to be with the switches that control the windows, if the drivers side switch is the same as the passenger then what you can do is pry the drivers side one up and pull it out and swap it with the passenger one, doing this will then tell you if the switch is at fault or the motor if it works then you need to replace the switch if it dont work then you need to replace the motor.
let me know if you have electric windows in the back as this could be a fuse, one thing you can do is look in the fuse box and on the back of the fuse box lid it should tell you what each fuse is for and then just pull the one for rear windows, if its not written on the back of fuse box cover than it will be written in the owners handbook that you get when the car is new usually kept in glove box or under seat.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Hello hoping 2 find some help.. i have a 2003 lexus gs 300. i took it to an auto body shop 2 get a custom paint job but wene i got it back my rear windows were rolled down. i didnt pay any mind 2 it cause...

I assume they all (windows)have automatic feature(should say on master switch ALL AUTO) , two clickes on each switch.First click for manual rolling , second click for auto rolling.
If that so , you can try to reset them :
Put the ignition on or start the car , close all doors ,
roll window up on first click and hold it for 10 sec. , then go down and do the same when window is down. If it doesn't work with the first click , try it on the second click. Roll it up and hold switch for 10sec.
, then down and hold switch down for 10 sec.
This procedure will not work if you only have auto on driver window.
Hope it helps.

The rear door driver side window on the Lexus ES300 will not open. The other windows are operating well.

I replace glass in cars for a living and I see this often. I also own an 02 ES300 which had the same problem. It's usually from lack of use that a rear doorglass stops working. The electric motor gets some corrosion in it and stops working. I repeatedly slapped the interior door panel while activating the switch that rolls the glass up or down. After about 5-10 minutes of this it started to work. If you get lucky like I did, make sure you roll the window up and down multiple times if you get it to work. Then remember to occasionally roll all the other windows up and down a few times every week or so to keep this from happening again. Good luck!

Rear driver side window won't roll down on 2003 lexus es300

I had the same issue with the passenger side rear window. I took the panel off (one screw under the window switch and one screw located behind the door handle. There is a small black cover over the screw.) I then took the motor off of the door and track system. After the track was off, I plugged the motor back into the wiring harness and tried the switch. Mine actually worked and the gear spun, if not, it will be a pricey window motor about $150-$250 depending on where you get it. Good luck! Sean

The battery to my 06 Lexus gs 300 was replaced

Sounds like you need to reset the auto up/down feature. Most vehicles require you to "roll" the window down, hold for 10 secs, roll the window up, and hold switch for 10 secs. This should reset it. If not, you may need to do reverse of what I said.

1993 Lexus LS

To put the windows up manually you will need to get inside the door. It sounds like you could have a bad switch. If you take the door off or can take out the window switch panel, put a jumper wire on the switch that tell the window to go up. If this is not working go directly to the motor where you can give the motor power by closing the circuit at the motor and the window will either go up or down. If it goes in the wrong direction just reverse the polarity of the wires.
