The woble is as significant as both tires blowing. I slow down allowing the front end to stablize and truck returns to normal. 2007 quad cab w/diesel.

Thanks for your help. Dodge conceded knowledge of inferior parts and required upgrades to many of these vehicles that included the replacement of each part you identified with greater quality part(s).

To me I would say you have something major going on. It could be many things such as:
1) unbalanced tires ( the easiest to fix)
2) A broken belt in your tire(s), in which case you will need to replace them
3) bad ball joints, upper and or lower, in which case you will need to replace them
4) bad tierod ends, you will need to replace them
5) bad idler arm
6) bad Pitman arm
7) bad center link
8) sever out of alinement at times can also make this happen
It could be any of these things, and possibly something else I may have overlooked. I would start in this order. Let me know if this helps you out.

I have a 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ SE 4 cyl. While traveling on rougher roadways, (usually between 30 - 50 mph), it will start to shimmy and shake. At first it was slight to significant. Right now, it's...

Two things to check. 1 The sway bar, it runs from tire to tire in front and is connected to the control arms with sway bar links, these links are what usually breaks. 2 the stablizer bar located in the front, it runs from one tire to just off center of the frame, these are a little harder to diagnose, but when you get it off you know for sure. the bushings get bad in them. This is most likely your problem. I have replace a few of them that had your symtoms

I have a 1994 chevey exstended cab 4 wheel drive it has a vibration in front it seems kije uts there when i accelerate then it kinda goes away but then when i brake and slow down it vibrates worst

sounds like you have a warpped brake rotor, bad ball joint, or a bad tire. I would recommed taking the truck to a tire shop and have them shake down the front end that will tell you if its a tire or ball joint

Dodge 1500 front end problem

How about the shocks and possible hugh air pressure in tires? When you push down on front end the body should return without bouncing. Hard tire won't absorb road shock. Give those two a look at.. good luck

1993 jeep grand cherokee *shaking VERY BAD in front end*

I have driven one that does this! When it does it, you can barely keep it on the road! Jeep calls this DEATH WOBBLE. Google it to learn more. I fixed the one I worked on by replacing the front tires. The tires I took off didn't look like they had a darn thing wrong with them. But when I put the Full size spare on the Left Front, the problem was gone. We also replace the steering stabilizer, shocks and tie rods on it too, but did nothing to the problem. After the customer replaced the tires, the problem has not came back. This was three years ago.

03 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 Death Wobble at around 70 mph???

I have a 2004 with the same problem. It is actually a defect on dodges behave. The steering box flexes on the frame when you hit a bump. Bd diesel puts out a steering box brace and a new track bar with the right geometry to fix it. I had replaced everything under my front end before i saw the article in off road adventures magazine. I contacted dodge and asked why this was not a safety recall. They said they no nothing about it and refused to help me. I called the National Highway Transportation Safety Board and filed a complaint. I suggest you do the same and anyone else who reads this. If you need to contact me email me at [email protected]. maybe we can get enough people to complain before someone dies from this.
