2001 nissan maxima Daytime Running Lights module location

bank 1 refers to the side of the engine that #1 cylinder is on , and sensor 2 refers to downstream , after the catalytic converter. , this link shows bank 1 on a 2001 nissan maxima V6 being on the firewall side . if you had a 4 cylinder it would be downstream after the catalytic converter .

Primary ignition fault. Reasons: Bad distributor cap (most likely) or ignition control module/ignition coil.

this maybe the motor on the fan or the bearings in the fan wearing out or the bearings in the a/c clutch

This is a common problem for this car. Most likly by the control module.that has cold solder joint inside. You can replace it with a used one; but if the solder joint inside is not reheated/reflowed the same problem will come back soon.
