Trying to locate the ac refill valve on a 2000 ford taurus 3.0 efi. Not having to much luck
Please rate as fixed if this helps you.
The low pressure service gauge port valve is located on the evaporator to accumulator/drier suction line.
The evaporator to accumulator/drier suction line contains low pressure refrigerant gas and is equipped with a serviceable low pressure A/C charge valve port.

USUALLY, the inlet to the radiator comes of the upper part of the engine and goes into the lower part of the radiator. The outlet, or return, from the radiator comes out of the upper part of the radiator and goes to the thermostat housing, also USUALLY on the upper part of the block. It's confusing cause just cause the hose connection is upper or lower on the block or radiator doesn't tell you where the lines and tubing inside is. Look at the ends of the hoses where they connect to the block. The thermostat should be under a hemispherical dome about 2 to 3 inches in diameter with a snout that the hose connects to. USUALLY the hose TO the radiator is just a snout. The thermostat housing is USUALLY up top where you can get at it. You can just call the sevice department of any Toyota dealer and they will tell you for sure. Sevice manangers love to let you know that they know more than you do. The folks at PepBoys and O'Reilly's like to show off too.

The largest diameter line is the suction which is low. The small one that runs to a coil by radiator is high pressure. If there is no cooling then you may have air in the system which means a leak must be fixed first. Are you sure the compressor is engaging? You should hear it click and the engine bog down a little.
SOURCE: how to remove the valve cover to replace gasket
What kind of engine? If it's a 3.0L Vulcan, you have to take off the upper and lower intake manifolds and you'll be able to take the valve covers off. There's a bunch to take off before you get to that point. The EGR Valve, Throttle body assembly, ignition coil pack, etc. Make sure you relieve the fuel system pressure (it might be behind the right side well cover of your trunk- disconnect that connection), and take off the negative battery terminal before begining work.

this vacumn line is to open the flaps on the A/C inside the car so it will run from the inlet manifold to somewhere on the heater/blower housing ,but where i cant help you with ,sorry none of these cars here in spain so i never seen one
SOURCE: where is low side ac hose for recharging located
You will notice the low side has a larger aluminum pipe, and along that pipe you will find the low side port. Anyways you can't connect the low side charging hose to the high side so there is no way you gonna make a mistake on connecting the can to the high side and blowing up the can.LOL
