If central locking is ok by key then must be the plug from the keyless entry box, also it can be the inside relay (box defect). If the central locking does not work by key ceck fuses.
you have a immobilisor problem thats for sure but does this vehicle have a extra alrm system or is the factory one ,is their a light flashing on the dash if so use the key in drivers door lock and lock and unlock the door three times then jump in and try to start within 15 secs
This is probably the ignition lock cylinder worn out or getting old. The TDM is most likely not locking the key in, but new cars are pretty tied into themselves. For now, just try leaving the key in. Use another one for the doors. Some cars have a small hole under the steering wheel/column that you can stick a pen or something in to release your key. Maybe just be ready for something else breaks, then you'll know what is wrong.
Are you using the the keychain to lock unlock the vehicle? A low battery in the keychain will send wacky codes to your vehicle alarm system and will not set properly. Try using the key in the door to lock unlock vehicle. IF the alrm does not go off when using the key in the door, then you probably have to change the battery in the key chain. Best guess without being there to look at vheicle.
You will have to use a key to turn one of the door locks or the trunk lock, in order to turn off the factory security system, which will then allow the car to start. If it's an aftermarket alarm you have installed in your car, you will have to consult the user manual for that particular alarm in order to disarm it.
battery of car is zapped of energy...not sure if alarm system to blame, after driving it for a few minutes..clock and radio display lights turn off, horn can barely be heard...sometimes, motor shuts down completely. have had to put in 2 new batteries in just a matter of 2 months?...any idea what this may be?
YOUR PROBLEM SOUNDS LIKE THE 3--VOLT BATTERY IN THE REMOTE AND AFTER REPLACING IT TURN KEY ON AND OFF 5 TIMES AND PRESS ONE OF THE BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE TO RESET IT
