Sudder thru the staringwheel at 30-50ml hr - Silver Spirit Rolls Royce Cars & Trucks

Wet button behind selector activated? If not oil type and level are critical
to Volvo transmissions. Given the age of your vehicle you may need to change it. Mobil ATF3309.

Have you tested the fuel pump relay ?

cud be a numbr of things from alinement--tires--worn steerin componets and on n on--bring it to a specialist not a dealer for testdrive

Take it in two steps.

Multiply 88 ft / sec by 1 mi / 5280 ft to get 88 ft*mi / 5280 ft*sec. 88 / 5280 is 1 / 60 and ft*mi / ft*sec is mi / sec so it simplifies to 1 mi / 60 sec.

Multiply 1 mi / 60 sec by 3600 sec / 1 hr to get 3600 mi*sec / 60 sec*hr. 3600 / 60 is 60 and mi*sec / sec*hr is mi / hr so it simplifies to 60 mi / hr or 60 mph.

thats not good, we see this quite often on the subaru's, the rear differantal has a posi track unit in it. what this is, is a drive unit that allowes both rear wheel to apply engine power to the ground, most cars have only one drive wheel but your car has two so there is a set of clutches inside the differantal and when you go around a corner the clutches release to allow one wheel to spin free it has to do this because the outside wheel has to turn faster then the inside wheel, now with all that said your clutches are not releasing that is why you are getting the sudder, the first thing to do is have the fluid changed in the rear end and make sure they install fluid made for posi track rear ends, then give it a little wile ( like a 100 miles or so ) and if it comes out of it great but if not you will need to have the clutches changed, it around a $1000.00 job......good luck

sounds like water in distrubutor cap - pull cap and check for moisture/carbon arcing (gray lines )- engine got hot- water evaporated of back of block- got into cap thru vents on bottom- no escape when cool- repeat

code 26 your carburator is too rich or 02 not working. Make sure air filter is not plugged, if its not when the engine is cold to touch or if it warmed up can you put your hand on the thermostat without it burning you? Then you can open the radiator cap and see if you are filled with fluid if not top it off. (even if its fuel injection).when the engine is cool find the oxygen sensor may have came loose.also make sure its connected . remember your using fuel more that it needs. or should we say $4.50/per hr.

sounds like you have a faulty mass air flow meter.Change it.hope that was helpfull.

The problem is a known issue with the 1 to 2 shift at hard throttle. The fix is a repair of the entire 2nd clutch assy. in the transmission. There is a TSB about it released by Chevy. It will need that rebuild for the sudder to go away, or you can try and let off it at shift to stretch more miles out of it.
