It sounds like the vehicle is in theft mode,did you use a different key? Does the theft light blink really fast with the key off?If the passive anti-theft system has been activated the computer will have to be reset in order to get the vehicle running again.

    thomashpatte I have a 98 ford won't start on every Wednesday. Took to a shop , no help. I only have one key . No remote. If the anti theft is going off what do I do to get the truck running again.

I know this sounds weird...but I locked the door..then input my code to unlock...then it crank with no problem
