SOURCE: How do I top up water coolant on cl63 Mercedes

The coolant bottle is on the passenger side and black in color. Wait til cool and simply remove the cap by unscrewing it. Top off to the line on the exterior of the bottle and replace the cap. If the resevoir is empty (take a flashlight and peer in), start the engine from a cold temp. and turn the heater on high to ensure that there are no air bubbles in the system to create an issue. Fill the resevoir until you reach the level on the exterior. If it is empty you need to get it looked at and find this leak before it overheats and destroys the head gasket. Let me know if you need anything else.

How do I replace the right low beam bulb

Open hood
Remove round cover behind the inoperative bulb
Grab bulb electrical connector housing and turn counterclockwise until bulb comes loose. Note the orientation of the connector and wires before removal and reinstall in the same position.
Replace bulb and reassemble vehicle in reverse order.
The bulb/connector can be very hard to turn. Make sure both tabs are latched correctly when you reinstall the bulb or the light from the new bulb will not be directed correctly.

Hi Dr Sethi,

I'm not sure where you are located, but the below links are from companies in Europe, they have plug-in chip units that increase power and torque for Mercedes 350GL Bluetec:

Differential overheat warning lights on

Could be the fluid sensor itself that is dirty of faulty (or it's wiring). Also give it a few minutes of driving (10m) to 'reset' itself (typical MB issue in my experience). Then reset the faultcode again.

It the code won't go away, take it to the dealer; you should still have warranty on it :)

Front end noise, steering or suspension on 2010 GL350 BluTec

Suspension and steering noises also need to be checked out as soon as possible to be safe. When a suspension component, such as a tie rod end or a ball joint is badly worn, it can separate, sometimes even causing the vehicle to lose control. If you hear a knocking or other noise from the steering or suspension, have it checked out. Here are few examples of the typical suspension and steering noises. Of course, there could be a lot more problems in the suspension and steering that can cause various noises. Any noise should be properly diagnosed.

Check engine light GL 350

If the CHECK ENGINE light come on, the PCM (computer car) have stored a fault code there; I suggest scanned this and note what fault code is there. Sometimes Autozone or AutoShop make this reader with OBD tools for free.

Keep in touch.
