EGR excessive flow. The fix for this should be cleaning the throttle body with a throttle body cleanser. If carbon is excessive, you may need to remove the throttle body and clean the 2 ports out with a pick or small screwdriver and the cleaner.

Can anyone help me get my Ford transit radio code lost while helping a neighbour start his van. It's Ford serial number: M469717 model: 4000 RDS. Thanks

your best bet is to call the dealer and give them your VIN number. They will then give you your code to unlock a radio. every vehicle has a different code

Engine shaking when turn on my van

Misfiring engine, blown head gasket, bad motor mounts, and number of things it could be. Try listing the year, make, model, size motor. If it's a 1996 or newer model, plug an OBD II code reader into the ECU and see what engine codes are being thrown.

1997 Ford Van, V-6, 4.2 engine with 74,000 miles. For the past week, every other day, the motor will choke out and run rough and only go about 40 mph for about 10 minutes, then the van will be ok and run...

the first thing you need to do is take your van to a autoparts store, and have them read the codes in the computer. this is a free service. a flashing service engine light is a indication of a emergency situation so get there soon. once the codes have been read get back to me and i can probably help you more

2002 Ford Windstar Error Code P1131 And P1151

those two codes are for the o2 sensors. both are the upstream sensors on the front and rear banks. so they are desinagted bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1. them most common cause for this is faulty o2sensors , bad gas and of a poor running engine. so if your car runs good (no misfire) and gas is ok then replace the o2sensor witch is the very most common cause.

Got a PO118 code for my 1996 ford Econo 150 van.

I work for Ford and have never seen this code, but the sensor must be on the fuel rail on the top of the engine, vans have a hot stall/hessitation issue from vapor lock, maybe this is part of the fix.
