Question about 2001 Jeep Cherokee
Could be many things from blocked filter to bad tps (throttle position sensor). The tps is small, cheap and easily replaceable. After checking basics like fluid (level- hot, after driving- and color -pink to red, should not be dark/light brown), etc. you may want to replace the tps.
