ON Nissan ZD 300 ENGINE I CAN'T GET THE SUMP OFF AFTER REMOVING ALL VISIBLE BOLTS. IT IS MOVING A LITTLE IN FRONT, BUT SEEMS TO BE VERY TIGHT AT THE BACK WHERE IT ATTACHES TO BELL HOUSING

Could be just the gasket or silicone type gasket replacer that was used to seal it to the engine and bell housing. If all the bolts are removed just give it a good pry and it should come

Changed transmission filter and fluid. Now, why is there a major leak at bellhousing?

to remove the tranny oil and filter ,you should have removed the pan
in replacing the pan the gasket has probably become displaced at the bell housing end and is leaking at that point
you may need to pull the pan again and check the position of the gasket

Why is there antifreezes leaking out of bell housing on a 1999 dodge Cummings diesel engine, is it a freeze plug or a crack in block

there almost certainly will be a freezeplug in that area , but first make completely sure the coolant isn't leaking higher up and looks like from bell housing , get the area steam cleaned and make sure it's not from the head gasket or another freeze plug , 30 minutes spent doing this could save you time and money dropping the gearbox etc , hope this helps

Water leaking beside thermostat houseing

Replace the corroded housing and you will have to replace the rusted welsh plug in the rear of the engine . If it is from inside the bell housing it means gear box out and fly wheel / flex plate off

Where is the thermostat on the .95 nissan altima

follow your top radiator hose to were it meets the engine.u will see one of two things .it goes right to the intake directly or to a bolted on peice that elbos into engine intake thats the bell houseing. pull it off
after loosening hose clamp and you should see it or if you have a bell houseing (elbo)to engine u have to take it off too to see it.replase it with new in same position put new bellhousing gasket on (if has bell houseing) with a lil blue silocone put bell housing on and replace hose or if no bellhouseing it more then likely just screws in like half turn and put hose back on sorry so detailed with info put they all work one way or the another depending on year or make any other questions i frequent this sight or get me at company email uglykidcustoms@live.com

I have 1995 toyota camry with 2.2 liter engine.I installed a new oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket, cause there was alot of oil leaking from that area. All the work was done about two months ago.there...

I have the same car and the same problem. I can see the oil shooting out at the (upside down) rear, right side of the oil pan. This side of the oil pan is covered by a piece of plastic foam. There are no bolts on this side of the pan. Toyota recommends grey Formagaskit to seal the pan. The natural flow for this leak is all over the bell housing. The piece of plastic foam is attached to bell housing inspection cover. Good Luck!!!

I need to replace my thermostat in my 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1 L engine. Where would I find it?

Just follow the Upper Radiator Hose to the Motor. It will attach to a Bell Housing. Remove the Hose and the Bell Housing and the Thermostat is Under the Bell Housing. Replace it the SAME Way that it Came out. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
