Bad motors? bad switches? Time to bust out the multimeter and see what works. Does the windows move at all? I know the Audi's of the same years have a stupid calibration hiccup where the window will go all the way up and then drop two inches. If this is the case, you just need to play with it to get the window up all the way and then hold it for a few seconds to recalibrate the window.

My 2007 vw eos drivers window won.t close, all others works fine

Could be the master switch because the drivers window is mostly used, or the window motor/regulator. same reason. Easy to check with a volt/ohm meter. You'll need wiring/pin outs for electrical.

Am tyrin to swap my drive shafts for golf5 1.6L with a golf5 2.0 fsi can thy fit? Pliz advise

VW stuff has a reputation for interchangeability but I can't answer your question. I suspect only a select few who have already done or failed to do the job can answer, alternatively you will need to compare the components and do the required measuring yourself.

I remember the case of a guy who upgraded his Polo with some Golf parts. After a crash (that wasn't his fault) an eagle-eyed insurance assessor spotted the modification and the insurance cover was withdrawn because the owner hadn't informed the company about the mods.

More recently a guy with a new Honda car had not liked the standard wheels and had opted for a Honda upgrade before taking delivery. Again an eagle-eyed insurance person spotted the difference and told the owner he wasn't covered because the insurer hadn't been told of the modification.

Proceed with caution...

Golf5 GTI steering wheel is hard why?

if your steering wheel is hard do you mean its hard to turn it? If that is the case locate your power steering fluid bottle under the bottle it sits close to the water bottle resevoir and see if you have enough power steering fluid in. If by chance you have enough in then your next step will be to locate the power steering pressure switch and look if its damaged by chance.

Hi, When closing the driver's side door, the door

The obvious choice is the cheapest. Somewhere in the door jamb is a small push button switch which either closes opens a circuit when the door is closed. That state is relayed to the computer which turns the interior lights and the door ajar system on or off . The switch generally either screws or snaps in. So as a first step I would get another switch and replace it. If it still does not work then I think the fault lies in the computer, however it is a VW and I have been wrong before.

Psycho 99 VW Beetle - I think it may be possessed, because I roll the windows up, lock the doors and when I walk a few feet away - the car un-locks and the windows roll down automatically..HELP!!

apparently the VW beetle is an odd machine, there is some kind of module connected to the locks and windows, for instance if you have the door lock, and in the closed position then use the key to unlock and hold it in unlock position the window will roll down showing you that the lock control module is working. if I were you I would seriously consider taking it to a VW dealership and showing them the problem. they might be able to tell you whats wrong or suggest a good exorcist lol good luck

When we got in to our car (a vw Beetle) this morning one of the windows were down and the key lock had been damaged the police told us that there is a way that people can disarm the alarm and the windows...

In the same way as you can use your key to open the windows by unlocking 2 times and holding the key in unlock position the windows will open, the criminal broke your lock and used a screwdriver to the same affect. You can also use your key to close the windows by locking and holding the key in that position. If the sunroof is open it will also close.
