The turn signals don't work inside the car either. I believe I have checked all the correct fuses and the flasher seems to be good also.

I should also add that the turn signals stopped working right after the front driver side tire caught fire on the highway. Broken strut housing :/

Bad chassis ground. Look for a braided strap running between engine and firewall (perhaps other chassis part like inner fender). It may be broken completely, frayed or badly corroded. Easy to replace and inexpensive.

SOURCE: Both turn signals light, but do not blink

under the dash on the driver side there is a round or square sliver box that should say turn signal or flasher on it in the fuse box.

make sure you replaced right flasher... by turning on turn signal then grab flasher if it is clicking it is the wrong flasher... there are two flashers... if you have right flasher make sure brake lights work properly.... usually the fuse for the hazards is also the brake light fuse...let me know

SOURCE: 92 olds cutlass supreme turn signal broken

Start by checking the fuses that's simple
than relay than bulbs
last you may have to remove the steering wheel and than replace the entire signal assembly those are pretty much all your options so start with 1 and work your way down the list

SOURCE: emergancy flashers work but turn signals dont

Check fuses , they operate on different circuits, ie ignition or battery dependant on switchwork. But unlikely to be a short in indicator circuit seen as 4way works fine but still may be a fault in a shared circuit . You may be down another electrical componant but are unaware at the moment ! Good luck

Brake lights and Turn Signals not working on 1992 Cutlass Supreme

Check for voltage to the light socket, if its low its probably a corroded wire or a short. If nothing try it at the fuse. It could also be the flasher unit or in the steering column. Since this was followed by the brake lights not working I would suspect something in the wiring, good chance of a bad ground. Bad grounds can send you in circles trying to diagnose elect. problems.

Have a 96 Olds Cutlass Supreme, brake lights will not work. We've replaced bulbs, fuses and brake light switch and still nothing. Help!

Try having someone push on brake pedal at the same time thay move the turn signal lever up and down slightly to see if your brake lights work this would tell me that you have a faulty turn signal switch because GM runs the brake lights thru the turn signal switch so they work if you are driving with your 4way flashers on.

Brake lights do not work. step on brake in park brake lights work. turn right signal on and step on brake left brake light comes on . turn on right signal and no brake lights work. put transmission in...

One of 2 things to have checked, if all your bulbs and connections are correct. 1-stop lamp switch module.
2-multifunction/combination switch (blinker arm/components that are in the steering column). For about a 1/2 hrs. labor cost, a mechanic should be able to test the circuits.

Break lights are not working

Hold brake down and wiggle the turn signal switch. The brake lights are wired thru this. If the brake lights come on you need a turn signal switch. Just fixed one last week with this problem.

You changed the hazard flasher or the turn signal flasher? It has two, one for the hazard and one for the turn signals
