SOURCE: Capacity of fluid for a transmission of a 2006 F150 5.4L Truck. Book says 13.9 quarts I emptied 3-4 quarts.

you must have just drained the pan? There is much more held in the converter. The one I am rebuilding this week is an 05 and doesn't have a drain plug on it (not many do anymore). A flush is the only way to change it all out. 13.9qts sounds like the total amount if the trans was completely empty, converter and all

SOURCE: How much trans fluid is

When changing the fluid and filter, maybe 4-4.5 qts. Fluid flushes are just a way for quickie lubes to flush your wallet. You should never have any fluid flushed unless its required by the car manufacturer, on the scheduled maintanance list.

How do I check trans fluid on a 06 750li?I have a dip stick but it doesn't say on dip stick; if I check It with car in neutral or park while engine is running,or do I check it with engine off.

most vehicle auto trans are checked while the engine is running and trans is warmed up to normal operating temp. except hondas which are checked with engine off. pull out the dipstick and the fluid level should be somewhere in between the hash marks. if its low just top off a quarter quart at a time and watch the fluid residue on hash mark on the end of dipstick.

I have a 06 ford fusion 80,000 miles. recently I have had a jerking problem from the rear. The first time this happened I thought someone hit me from behind.

I am only going to guess

You may have a bad EGR Valve,if it slams, bucks, etc, with the slightest amount of gas applied or won't go up any hill. Disconnect the vacuum lines to the valve, plug them and road test to confirm

I hope you have changed your trans fluid, at least twice in 80,000 miles (I used to own a trans shop)
Forget the TV Ads and owners manual, change it and flush the power steering, every three years, not more than 30,000 miles
Flush brake fluid ever two years.

If you still have problems, consider the Trans Solenoid Contol Pack,( remove trans pan to replace)
If the tach ever flairs up, and the shifts are not crisp, stop driving it immediately and change solenoids

Is it true that a 2006 ford fusion does not require a transmission servicing?

If you want to burn it up, in about three years
All transmissions require fluid changes, not more than 30,000 miles or three years.
You watch too many commercials
Change the Power Steering Fluid, every three years also
Brake fluid every two years.
Unlikely you'll get 100,000 out of a transaxle even with the fluid changes. Just so I told you so,in the future
I used to own a trans shop. 90% of that work was neglect and some MFG Failures
