SOURCE: leaking water from front passenger side, under dashboard

It is either condensation water from the A/C unit that should go out a drain tube to the outside (only if A/C or Defrost is on) or a leaky heater core. If it is a heater core you can usually smell a coolant smell and the water will be warm and your windows will fog up inside. Heater core is more common. Joe ASE Master Tech

SOURCE: water was leaking inside on passengers side, now

HVAC drain tube was blocked and condensation could not drain to the outside of the vehicle

as a result the water pooled inside the HVAC case leaking on the inside and killing your blower motor and probably blower motor resistor

clear the drain, replace the blower and resistor and you'll be back in business

The high-level intake at the base of the windshield directs rain water through channels behind the door pillars to the street. If the channels become clogged with leaves and debris, the rain water can leak inside.

The leak I have in my 2006 HHR is clear, on the passenger side, and only happens when it rains. I do not see anything around the windshield, but it goes through the glove compartment and on to the flo

A good trick to finding exactly where it is leaking from is to take flour or baby powder, and very lights dust the entire inside area where the leak could be coming from. Do this right before you know it is going to rain and it will leak. when you go out to check it after the rain, it should be very easy to see where the water came in and washed away the powder. I would do it along the rubber gasket around the door from the back edge of the window where it meets the roof, all the way down past the door hinges, as well as the windshield.

Holden adventra lx8 passenger side water leak

You may have a plugged AC water condensation drain hole, it drains under the car at the base of the engine bulkhead on the passenger's side.

MY 2006 HHR HAS A WET PASSENGER SIDE LEAK ONLY IN HEAVY RAIN

Check all weep holes for clogs below the windshield, it sounds like it may be coming from the fresh air intake. During the heavy rain, it will fill up with water if the weep holes are clogged.

Getting condensation drainage accumulation on passenger side floorboards of 2006 Chevy HHR.

Your drain hose is clogged. If you park under trees, debris can get in there. Once the hose is clogged, the water has to go somewhere, so it goes onto the passenger-side floorboard because that's where the evaporator is (under/behind the glove box).

Why does 2006 chevy hhr power steering suddenly stop working?

There is a known issue with the HHR (and other GM products) Electric Power Steering. GM has recalled some vehicles.

If problem is intermittent then you need to talk to dealer. May need to replace power steering motor.

If all the time, may be blown fuse (#1, 60A underhood) or 2A under dash on passenger side of console.

it should be located in the heater/evap case under the dash by the glove box, usually the pigtail from the blower motor itself leads the the resistor pack.
