Is your seat staying hot? the if so just order a replacement switch from your dealer .{if you needed a more expensive part then I would have suggested that you visit your local vehicle dismantlers } but the switch should not be too expensive ..and to replace all you need to do is turn of power{disconnect the battery just for safety .} the using a small blade screwdriver prize out the original switch and just unplug from the wiring loom and then when you have your new one just click in the wiring and click the new switch and you should be sorted ..if that has not sorted your problem then the relay may be fused in the closed position {but unlikely } but for now if its annoying you the just remove the appropriate fuse .good luck

The most likely cause is the seat heater elements, they either have excessive resistance or are open - id recommended replacing both driver side element - upper and lower

Drivers side seat heater won't warm the seat

sounds like a bad relay. Look in the owners manual or on the fusebox cover. It will not be a fuse, but a silvery looking box that pulls out. Youll have to check the documentation to see which one it is in your vehicle.
Sometimes it is under the seat in a Volvo.
check the relay under the seat, make sure it hasn't worked its way loose. if its still tight, the heater pad itself has probably checked out.
If its not the relay, and you want to save some $$, replace the drivers side with the P/S. 'F' the passenger :)

Seat warmer's not heating properly

the most probable answer to that is the valve connecting the heater to the seat has a hole or is not connected properly. Just to be safe check with a car mechanic
