Only you can park start engine, warm it up, and at normal
hot 14psi coolant pressure, see the exact leak point, not me or anyone here can. its an EYEs on thing,
the object leaking is bad. if a hose, flange or gasket, if the
head gasket leaks, then bingo bad head gasket.

SOURCE: no reverse sometimes geo metro a/t

The accelator cable is "Y" shaped. one side goes to the carb and the other to the tranmission. If you have the carb.side too tight it will give you the problem that you are having.

SOURCE: How do you fix a sagging headliner in a 1995 Geo

These headliners are glued to the inside of the roof. There are four huge ribbons of hard glue down almost the full length. It will tear off part of the headliner like opening a carboard box (because it is cardboard). You have to try not to bend up the headliner getting it off. The edges are glued under the door seals. Typically the seals aren't glued though, they just pull down. Those plastic plugs need more of an even pressure to pull out without damage; you might be better off with some school scissors rather than a single screwdriver, or you may find a tool at the partshouse for $5 or less. You can find plugs like that at Lowes if they're damaged, but typically just black or white only. Really you might want to shop around first. Someone around here used to advertise $50. That would be well worth skipping this kind of wrinkled, gluey hell.

are you asking for a hard copy book in print
or a PDF, why not say that?
asking for books,
are you asking for free books,

if yes, learn to use google, (good luck with most are virsus infected or the sites selling them)

This is GM GEO metro, a suzuki swift with G engine options.

they sell books in , books stores.,
ebay has them
the compendiums are sold in car parts stores
in the rack of books but 1995 is too old so most stores brick dont waste space for rare cars.
but gee ask them to special order it.
This books are bad, 10 years in 1 thin book
forcing you ON LINE.
online 101:
google it.
ebay sellers have it , i see them now.
amazon sells books. even used book, lots.
so does abe's books
and others. online. learn to search.

here ill type for you

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xgeo+metro+oem+book.TRS0&_nkw=geo+metro+oem+book&_sacat=0

is this hard, searching>?

there are online virtual books.
Interactive books.
mitchells tops my list. then alldata.com

i think the Virtual books were made by mitchells
buying the raw data from GM.
and then republishing them. from scratch.
and is why they are not FREE, (gobsmack me.)

Motor runs at 4000 rmp when started

1995 Geo Metro. COLD start or HOT started or BOTH?
Does it ever idle down to 800 HOT? (engine temp)>?

Aka:
Geo Metro (later re-branded the Chevrolet Metro), Pontiac Firefly, and Suzuki Swift
which engine, what country???
I will post for USA only !!!!
Auto or stick tranny???
the USA 1995 was the last car to use TBI injection (throttle body)
the LSI option, then had a 4 cylinder. in 1.3Liters.
and works totally differ. than any 1.0L
answsering for 1.0L

Have you inserted the Diagnostic jumper wire and looked at the
FLASH codes yet?
choke? on 95? what country is this, ours are not carbs. in 1995.
so post country. ours are all EFI in USA.
3 cylinder? 1 liter? or which engine/?
on any USA Metro, 1L , when first started, it has 2 valves. to control IDLE, (cold , is iAC) hot is ISC, The cold start valve opens farther the colder it is (how cold was it). but usually is limited to about 2000 rpm
max.
this engine, TBI, uses a MAP to control fuel mixtures, and
any air leaks (aka; vacuum leaks) what so ever, will cause too fast idle.
so on MAP cars, you get to find out what is leaking AIR.
1995 has the new better , idle control speed motor, (ISC)
this can be stuck open.
that new TPS, did you do the calibration correctly?
it must set right. or idle will never be controlled.
finding the cause, takes hard work, and hands on testing
A/C fast idle broken
A/T transmission fast idle, device, broken.
Air leaks (add huge list of possibles and cracked hoses here)
Throttle stuck
ISC or IAC bad.
very hands on to find this, done many.
TPS on indexed corrrectly or not calibrated.

Metal Pipe Down the Back of Engine

pipe ?
leaking what? antifreeze green/orange/pink fluid?
if yes, that is the doom sign. and overheating and possible head warping.
the only normal leak is A/C condensate (purewater) from the condensate tray below the A/C evaporator. (about passengers toe
a tube lands on earth and make a puddle.
can happen in winter using DEFrost mode of heater.

running 50% Antifreeze, yes, then what color is it? only you know that.

I took motor/tranny out of well maintained/well running 1994 Geo metro xf and installed them in a 1995 geo metro LSI. everything went well i had to use the 1995 intake and throttle body due to wiring...

Yes, because the specs are different... most manufatures change the specs on vehicles every four years, so 90-94 is most likely all the same, but then you will have 95-99 an so on an so on.. Good Luck

My 1995 Geo Metro 1.3 L leaks a lot of transmission oil. What is the problem?

Faulty oil seal, simple as that, where it is will be for a garage to find.

There are three main oil seals, one each side of the gearbox (CV driveshaft seals) and the other which requires gearbox removal is the torque converter to gearbox oil seal. Hope its not that one!!

PS = I trust the gearbox level is correct and NOT overfilled as this will also happen,. Has anyone recently topped up trans and spilled fluid??

Geo metro

well if you know it has a blown cylinder they you need to rebuild the motor and that cant be explained over the internet. the easier thing to do is to buy a used motor and replace the whole thing. those motors and small and cheap. you will waste more time rebuilding the motor that you would just getting a cheap used one and replacing it.

1995 geo metro 3cylinder 5 speed

sounds to me that the syncros in the trans are worn out. when driving and shifting try to vary the rpms while trying to shift . try to shift it like a semi truck just have to match the engine rpms to the trans input shaft rpm. this is not a cheap fix rebuilt trans or install new syncros in your trans requires the whole trans to be dissambled.
good luck
