If you pull the radio out there should be a 4 dig code written on it and if not than write down the serial # and the VIN # of the Veh and go to the nearest dealership and they should get the info for you!!!!

I have just replaced the battery in my Hyundai I have the code of the radio how do i put the code in and how many digits are supposed to be ? How do I actually put in the numbers in the radio so it will...

Try looking in the glove box for a sicker or in the back of the Manuel book for the code. There is 4 numbers to reactive the radio. If you can not find the code, try 0000 to reactive the radio. At worst you can log on to There is a fee for the code, but you get to keep the code and most of the time it's cheaper then the dealer. Good luck and keep me post.

Help my hyundai 2006 elantra radio is locked and its a 2nd hand car so i have no code how to i unlock!! also she tries to turn over about 1-3 times everytime i start up, she doesnt always kick in.... whats...

Go to a Hyundai dealership with the title for proof of ownership and they should be able to dig up the appropriate code for you. (hint write the code somewhere on the cars owner manual to help you and any other future owners) As for start ups... i would look into a tune up since you didnt mention any "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" lights. A typical tune up would be just new wires and new plugs for a car this young maybe replacing the cap and rotor would be in order but start with plugs and wires for starters Hope this helps.

I have a hyundai sonata classic 2000 model disconnected the battery lead to clean them, now the radio will not work I have a security code but not sure how I put it in to radio

Once you turn on the unit, "1 CDE" will appear on the LCD. Then using preset button 1~4 enter the 4 digit security number supplied on security card. After confirming the number, press preset button 5. This should unlock the player. If the incorrect code is entered "2 CDE" will appear on LCD and if incorrect code is entered again, "3 CDE" will appear on LCD. If, after the third attempt, the code is incorrect, the set will turn off. Wait 1 hour before re entering a security code.

I just changed battery and then i found i couldn't use radio anymore. The window show "code" everytime i tried to turn on radio. My car is 1995 Hyundai excel.

You need to re-insert radio code . If your radio is factory provided you may ask code from local hyundai dealer.
Give radio model number to search if can be found also on web.
