GPS has lost it's memory, adress book and recent trips

1.)My jeep gps lost all of my address book & recent trips. It will not save anything now but will allow me to put in an address and give instructiosn to get there. This happened after the jeep did not start, click, nothing one morning. I jiggled the battery terminals (no corrosion)and it started and has started since. I replaced the battery since it was 5 years old anyway. 2.) at the same time one of the electric seat adjustments stopped working although the motor for that operation still tries to work. seems to be jammed.

If the gps relies on the main battery for memory, that is why it is gone.the battery died
they should have a separate back up like a computer has a battery inside to retain the bios information and clock settings.
you should have a small secondary battery like a motorcycle battery,in parallel with the main battery isolated by a diode.

The GPS volume control on my 2010 Jeep Liberty Limited?

I have nav in my 2015 Cherokee. To adjust gps volume, I press the arrow to make it talk, and adjust the gps volume while she is talking. Then the volume defaults back to the radio. See if that works for you. Hopefully the nav is the same.

My navigation system in my 07 camry keeps telling me the address doesn't exist when I know it does. It won't find any address

If your GPS is not finding any address, then the most likely cause is that the wrong country map is loaded or the map is corrupted as finding an address does not rely on getting any satellite signals (your GPS should at least show your home location or the last known position on the 'correct' map): I suggest that you look at your specific GPS user manual to find how to check that you have the correct map loaded: if it is the case, then find the instruction on how to 'reset' your GPS as its software may be corrupted.
Hope it helps.
