SOURCE: judders when pulling away

This sounds like a clutch problem, be it automatic or manual drive. It may need adjusting or servising or the clutch may need replacing. Hope this helps

SOURCE: mercedes 1.7 cdi judders at 50 mph it has a auto

The JUDDER with the 5spd auto is caused by the torque converter lock up clutch. Some suffer from water damage , but the root cause of this judder is within the valve body assembly.
a fix for this can be purchased from sussexautoparts.co,uk
