The only way you lose oil is by burning it or leaking it, if your car blows a lot of blue smoke, then you are burning it {engine rebuild or replace} if there is oil on the ground when you park, then you need to determine where the leak is coming from, pressure wash underneath before taking it to a mechanic, we hate getting under dripping dirty cars. glad to help.

I would check that spark plug, and have that coil checked or replaced. Also check for any vacuum hose leaks in the area of the cylinder.

Hi, I have a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8, a few weeks ago I noticed oil leaking from the passenger side of the engine.

Sounds more like a valve cover gasket if it leaks on one side. If the oil leaks down the back look at the intake gasket.

Engine runs out of oil in less than one week, and engine raggs.

what do you mean by engine raggs? Is the engine using oil are is it leaking? if the engine is leaking then you need to find out where it is leaking oil from then replace the seal. if the engine is burring oil then you need to replace the piston rings. you and go to your local auto parts store and get some oil stop leak is the easiest fix.

2009 nissan sentra is having problems with use of oil 1 qt a week and comp.says misfire cylinder 3

check your exhausts catalytic converter if it is plugged your car will not go past 40 mph just unbolt the converter it is toward the front of the car if it runs better then you can get a new converter from ebay for less than 200 hope this helped. On your oil issue when the engine is still cold look underneath for a noticeable oil leak it should lead to a hole in a gasket you can ue high temperature ilicone from a parts houe to fix the leak

2004 nissan sentra struggles to accelerate

When it losses power have a fuel pump pressure gage hooked up, it may be the pump is badly worn and it is losing pressure after it heats up, have seen this many a time. Also run a fault code test on the engine control computer using an OBD2 code reader.

Need to know 04 nissan sentra spec v valve flash sequence to fix tapping sound in engine

Not sure what you mean about a flash sequence. If there is a tapping noise, check your oil level and quality. When oil is low, the valve timing solenoid can not function properly as it runs on oil pressure. This will cause your tick noise. If your engine is burning oil the catalyst may be at fault. They break up and enter the engine through the exhaust valve and damage the cylinder.

89 Nissan Sentra making a trrrrrr noise

sounds like a case of closing the horse after the barn ran away...Pretty good chance that you have lost an engine bearing (yes, that means it's new engine time)
To avoid this in the future regard your oil light as a "you just blew your engine" light. Check your oil at least every two weeks, and this will never happen again (not for lack of oil anyway!!!)

Water in my 2004 nissan sentra engine?

You can buy motor flush at most auto parts stores and use according to instructions and do it yourself or bring to a repair shop that has an engine flush equipment and have it done.
