SOURCE: Saturn vue 2004 repalced battery

If it is like most Saturns if you had the radio or any eletrical equipment on when you changed the battery it blows the fuse. It will also blow the fuse to your turn signals or wipers if they are on.

SOURCE: 2004 saturn vue Replaced battery. Radio and Cd no longer work.

Turn off the car and remove the negative battery cable off. let sit a few minutes then reconnect the cable. try it several times. The removal of the battery causes the computer to deprogram itself. what you will be doing is re-programming the computer module.

SOURCE: radio does not turn on. the clock shows, the light

The memory wire of the radio,(the power for the clock and channel settings) is usually connected to the same circuit as the cigarette lighter. (there is a seperate fuse for radio) Check your cigarette lighter socket for damage or dirt, etc. could be causing the memory fuse to blow. Also check your cig lighter accesories (like cell phone chargers, etc.)

P.S. The backlight is also a seperate circuit (connected to interior light/parking light circuit)

It's not written in the manual but, you have to first turn the radio on then it will let you set it.

How do I set the time in a 2006 Saturn Vue clock with a CD player. Pressing the small button and turning the volume knob, according to the manual doesn't work for me. Thanks..Ken

This will work if you turn the radio on first. The manual seems to have left that part out. I wrote it into my manual for the next time the time changes.

Everything on the dash lights up as if it is

We had the same problem. Pull the premium amplifier fuse and put it back in. This resets the premium audio amplifier. Should be good as new after this reset.
