Question about Mazda MAZDA6

Open Question

My fog lights on my 2005 Mazda 6 3.0L V6 stopped working. I tried changing the bulbs, and I also checked the fuses and relay in the fuse box. The switch works still for the low beams and high beams so I don't think that it is the switch. When I switch the fog light on and off there is a clicking noise somewhere in the engine. I believe it is coming from the gray box that the fog light wires run into. I have no idea what it could be from here.

probably corrosion on the ground wire to the bulbs or the wire to the bulb did he check from chassis to connector or just take the bulb out sounds like you need to find a real mechanic

High beam indicator comes on with fog lights

Could your Mazda have daytime running lights? If you checked all fuses, did that include the three in the joint box?

There is an auto light-off control module that is central to all functions you describe. It is assumed that you would only turn on the fog lights with headlights on and set for high beam. If you set the headlight switch to LOW, the module closes the headlight relay to turn on the low beams. If you then turn the headlight switch to HIGH, the module turns on the high beams and allows you to turn on the FOG LIGHT switch, closing the fog light relay and turning on the fog lights. Since this sequence is not working, I suggest checking both high beam lamps as both could be burned out. Other possibilities are a defective headlight switch or the module

Driving/fog light not working and bulbs are good. So is fuse.

Check the headlight or fog light relay, I believe located in the fuse box. It could be bad.
