Sounds like an electrical malfunction. Make sure these components are not on the same fuse, relay or wiring?

Auto leveler compressor of 97 Olds LSS can be replaced or install new strut assembly. Will be 2 mths before i can afford either. Can I pump air into the shocks and make it stay there?

My 05 lesaber compressor quit working and what caused it to quit was the old air struts wore out and made the compressor run all the time causing it to over heat and burn out. Rather than replacing the air shocks and compressor my mechanic installed a set of air shocks and installed an air line from them to a spot below the trunk lid on the bottom of the trunk. They have what looks like the air nozzle for a spare tire I use an air compressor or even the air pump you blow up a spare tire. I keep about 60 pounds in them all the time and check the air pressure abour every three months. Cheaper doing it that way.

Our air suspension on our 2007 Mercedes r350 have stopped lifting

Your air pump or air shocks may have quit working. Mine would run but the shocks had an air leak. I had to get new air shocks and yes the air pump was shot so I replaced the air shocks and installed an air line below the license plate. I pump them up with my air compressor about every three months. The pump was too expensive for me.

I have a 98 Buick Lesabre. The air suspension motor is running a lot. Can I just unplug it?

My air lines were shot ant the pump quit. Check for air leaks and yes you can shut it off but the air shocks will not work any more. I bought after market air shocks which has their own air lines you pump up like you do your tires. I check mine every three or four months.

As for air pump, Fuse might run both the speed sensor and air pump because they are right next to each other, Did you get a Alarm just added? maybe they Moved the ground strap off?? you need alot more info for more Ideas that are easy to try, BUT saying, When did it stop? Big bump/ After tune up/ any service work before it stopped.. You have to help out here a little more for ideas.. Sorry But This will help you get a Much better answer.. BCB...

The speedmeter and odometer does not work regularlly. However once in a while it will work for a few miles and quit. The rest of the panel works. Thanks

in the transmission there's a sensor which is connected by a power wire, either the power wire is shorted or the sensor crapped out..
Best regards

My heat gage quit working and my speedmeter quit to as my gas gage to what coud be wrong they all stoped at once and no dash light

That dash board uses ribbon connectors to connect to the wiring harnesses. Make sure the connectors haven't come free. You can pick up a used one that works from a parts yard for about $25 and replace the old one. This all assumes that the fuses for the dash are in good working order. The only reason I recommend replacing the cluster is because you lost too much at once and this could be caused by a short on the board that controls it all.

I have 1988 ford ranger an speedmeter had stop working before i got it where does the speedmeter hook up at

look at the tranny under the drivers side of truck....speedo cabe is that large cable fastened to the tranny via a circular ring at it's base. it may be unplugged---if not will need to be lubed at both ends and where it is exposed under the hood......use wd 40 and work it in wearing protective gloves..

Auto ride on 2000 Yukon XL needs replacing.

Hey,

The air pump in located in the very back-left (driver's) side, underneath.
You know the shocks can "look" quit bad and still be okay.
Everything about this system is expensive (to me).
There is also a height sensor that can go bad and keep the air-pump from running.

I recommand an expert on this system.

Your GM Dealer is your best bet for parts.
Just my opinion.

Good Luck

Odometer and speedmeter doesn't work

in the Fuse Box there are Fuses for this. They are labeled as "Guages" "Illumination"and Speed on some Models. Get a Flashlight and look Really close at the Fuses. There should be at least one that is Blown.
