SOURCE: 2005 Chrysler Sebring - engine stumbles and won't

I wasn't able to find out the first engine code, but the other one is a multiple or random misfire. and crankshaft position sensor a circuit. If the car has a distributor you could tried replacing the cap rotor and also wires first. Next you would look at the crankshaft position sensor try unplugging and plugging it back in. Look at the connection and wires to make sure they look OK. If you do not know how to test this you could also just replace the sensor. Good luck.

So one side of the v-6 is out of sync. I'd give it to a mechanic who can run a diagnostic with a scanning tool to determine if the electrical values are within factory specs. You may have weak Upper O2 sensors or a bad fuel regulator but why guess when it can be diagnosed. Good luck.

2001, W210 E240 - 2.6 V6 misfires on 1 2 & 3 (codes P0301, P0302, P0303) when under load and cold - reset adn restart and runs fine ... if I drive very carefully when cold, then no problem, no engine...

While the P03xx codes can be intermittent, sporadic and very difficult to diagnose (bad fuel, malfunctioning injectors, assorted sensors, catalytic converters, etc.), I learned of one relatively simple and inexpensive solution to another Mercedes owner's various P03xx problems. See for yourself here: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w140-s-class/1265142-p0300-p0301-p0306-p0170-codes.html
Good luck.

I think the P0107 is the root cause of the problem.
P0300 is a random engine misfire on all cylinders.

Possible causes - Faulty spark plug (s)
- Faulty ignition coil (s)
- Ignition coils harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coils poor electrical connection
- Clogged or faulty fuel injectors
- Injectors harness is open or shorted
- Injectors poor electrical connection
- Improper spark plugs
- Insufficient cylinders compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Intake air leak
P0107 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input.
Possible causes - Manifold Absolute Pressure harness is open or shorted
- Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor poor electrical circuit connector
- Faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Engine Control Module
(ECM)

Hi, the P0016 and 0017 mean that you have incorrect camshaft/crankshaft timing (for both inlet and exhaust camshafts), meaning that the timing is off and that can be caused by a number of reasons, begining with the sensors, and getting to the timing chain, tensioners, and the balancing shaft...

I think your sensors are pattern parts and the readings /resistances are not the same as the original parts ,try some bosch units is my first suggestion ,

Information on codes p0016 and p0017; causes and how to fix them.

crankshaft/camshaft position correlation error. Can be caused by slipped timing belt or either sensor manfunction. First thing to do is check connectors on both sensors. If good, then you should check the valve timing by inspecting the camshaft sprocket alignment with timing marks. If you need instructions, please let us know.

My C230 Mercedes has check engine light on. Car checked and the following codes were found: P0171 system too lean, P0300 random/multiple cylinder misfire, P0301, 302, 303, 304- meaning cylinders 1 - 4...

P0171 indicates a lean condition. The most common cause of this is a defective mass air flow sensor. Also check if any vacuum leaks.Replace MAf sensor,if cleaning the MAF does not help.
Thanks.
