SOURCE: coolant leaking from bottom of water pump on 99 chevy 5.3 ltr

if coolant is coming from the bottom of your pump then the bearing and seal are going bad it is time to replace it . you can try flushing your heater core . take the hoses off and using a garden hose flush water through in both directions one at a time .

SOURCE: need to replace water pump on a1997 chevy lumina

3.1L And 3.4L (VIN E) Engines

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Partially drain the cooling system into a suitable container.
  3. Remove the drive belt guard.
  4. Loosen the water pump pulley bolts before removing the drive belt. This should help keep the pulley from turning as the bolts are loosened.
  5. Remove the drive belt. Please see Section 1.
  6. Remove the water pump pulley bolts and remove the pulley.
  7. Remove the water pump bolts and separate the pump from the engine front cover.
To install:

  1. Clean all parts well. Use care when scraping gasket material from the front cover and the pump. Do not gouge aluminum parts. Clean the bolt threads well. The torque specification is low and if the bolt threads are dirty, an accurate torque is not possible and leaks are likely to develop.
  2. Using a new gasket, install the water pump to the front cover. Install the cleaned and lightly lubricated water pump bolts. Torque to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
  3. Install the water pump pulley and bolts and torque to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  4. Install the remaining components in the reverse order of the removal process. When refilling the cooling system, use the proper mix of DEX-COOL® and water. Check for leaks.

Condensate leaking on passenger side from ac

The drain tube from the evaporator housing is most likely plugged up. With the vehicle in the air locate the drain tube on the passenger side of the firewall and using coat hanging or something similar carefully snake it through it Be careful as a lot of water may pour out and don't go crazy poking with the coat hanging as the evaporator core is at the other end of the tube.

I need to know what to seal ac leaks in a 1996 chevy lumina, I need any ideas...

Nothing really works from what I have heard.
Pressure is too high for that, and anything that viscus would harm the pump.

Just use soapy water to find the leak, and replace/tighten whatever is the problem.
Careful if you open the system, because rapidly escaping freon can be dangerous, especially to eyes.
