Question about 2000 GMC New Sierra 1500
It seems to have flooded itself. Give it time to dissipate. Should be ok. Will have to repair tank and replace charcoal canister at worst.

have you checked out your fuel filter? I had my 2003 denali do the same type of problem and it turned out to be a very dirty fuel filter.

Easy solution; if it is just a small leak, use alumaseal or any colling system seal in the radiator. I t worked for my two cars. it even worked on a new radiator that was leaking steam from odd places.
If hoses or pipes are completeley rusted or the rubber is cracked, i would replace them.
ps also, this seal could protect the engine for a while from water getting into the cylinders if you get a small leak through the cylinder head gasket.
hope this helps.
