SOURCE: license's plate light stopped working even with new bulb.

It wouldn't be a fuse if that's the only light that's not working, I believe all of the parking lights are on the same fuse. It's most likely a bad ground or corrosion inside the socket where the bulb makes the electrical connection. So check the socket to make sure it has no corrosion, if it does, clean it up and apply some dielectric grease (available at any parts store) to prevent future corrosion, and check for a loose or broken ground wire.

SOURCE: Need to replace tail light bulb on 1996 Buick Century

Inside the trunk, under the carpet behind the tail lights will be a whole bunch of small plastic nuts, running from one side of the car to the other. Take all of these plastic nuts off, and the whole tail light assembly will come off in one large piece. Find the bulb you need to replace, and reassemble

Tail lights are out

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

As a first course of action, please check the bulbs for it can be blown. If the bulbs are good then it can be just a blown fuse for the tail light.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one

Was driving down the street and my dashboard lights went out checked the proper fuses but none are blown think i might have blown the bulb need to know how to take the dash apart and find the bulb

There are several bulbs that illuminate the instrument cluster. The chances of all of them blowing at the same time is pretty slim.

The bulbs get there power from the headlight switch. It then goes through the dimmer switch and then finally to the bulbs. It is more likley that there is a problem with one of these if the fuses are o.k.

If you have a little automotive electrical knowledge, a volt meter, and a test light I would be happy to help you further.

I have a 2000 buick century back up lights aren't working, changed bulbs and notice that the license lights aren't working either. Checked the taillamp fuse it's okay. Is this the right fuse?

The back up lights may be on a separate fuse from the tail lights. The license plate light should be fused with the tail lights though. The bulbs are good on the license plate light too? Did you have the ignition switch on when you were checking the back up lights? It could be the neutral safety switch is out of adjustment or the switch is bad. Does the car start OK in both neutral and park? If so the switch adjustment is probably good, but the back-up light portion of the switch could be bad. That switch is located on top of the transmission, about right under the master cylinder for the brakes. You have to disconnect the shift cable lever from the trans to get the switch off.

The turn signal gos fast than nomal in my car

Sounds like a blown fuse, or bulb. Check the owners manual for the fuse location, and check it to see if its good. If it is, try the bulb. One is either out, or going out. If its not either of these, the car may need to have the wiring checked. Good luck.
