SOURCE: why is my 99 ford F450 7.3L turbo diesel blowing

Does any one have a idea a friend here has changed ecm, inj, fuel pump checked conector at fire wall ,fuel and has a short wrecker tow f450 99 and will be going down the road and he says the thing just loses all power and kind of just won't do over 15 to 20mph and lets it sit and he says it will do it again. I am not sure how long it takes but since I don't work on diesels I figured I would have the experts that do if anyone knows it's you guys any help he is in Charlotte NC I can put you with this guy he has had it to all the parts changers and no luck Thanks Mark 704 492 1647

2002 and up Ford F350 Diesel Engine Oil in Belly pan low fuel mileage.


Ford Diesel engine blows off the intake rubber intake hoses, blue in color with 7.0 Liter. If you have a problem with this engine as stated above there is an updated hose for the intake tubes also remove the intake pipe on the turbo side of the turbo remove the 10MM bolt that holds the metal tube on to the block and remove the clamp on the turbo, remove tube. Next look at the turbo shaft inside do you see oil in the turbo? If no then grasp the turbo shaft and try moving it up or down and in and out. Any Movement The turbo needs to be rebuilt before replacing the Turbo hoses. If there is oil in the turbo then it needs to be rebuilt so stop at this time and decide what you want to do with it.
The turbo also has a flapper valve inside the turbo that goes bad at about 100,000 this is the boost waste gate and boost flapper valve, it is an internal gate unlike the mechanical ones on most turbo. If you have low power check the boost pressure with your boost gauge if you have less than 12 pounds of boost then it's time to look at the turbo. Of the Turbo I have rebuilt I have increased fuel mileage by 30 percent. If you want the details of how to gain the extra mileage post a comment to me or ask this question and I will get back to you for the procedure.

the starter can only be at 2 points.
the left side or right side of engine
just the most casual looking finds it.
v6, what displacment? gas or diesel?

2006 f350 6.0 powerstroke diesel missing. help


there is no wastegate on a 6.0l turbo. its a variable geometry turbocharger and doesn't need it. i have never seen a turbocharger cause a misfire, the turbocharger is most likely not your problem. if you didn't clean the intake out when replacing the egr valve there is a really good chance that the egr is bad again. also, a bad egr cooler can cause repeat egr failure. also, fuel injector control module is a common cause for misfire

P0087- low pressure fuel system. Fuel pressur valve stock open, Fuel volume control valve stuck close, Leaking fuel injector,P0088- fuel pressure contorl valve stuck close, Fuel rail pressure sensor P2291-all @ at the above, means to say poor fuel quality

I have a diesel turbo and i want to put it on my ford


There is more to supercharging an engine than just putting a turbo charger on it. Fuel delivery will need to be adjusted. A different cam shaft, valves and maybe pistons.
You will probably need a larger radiator to get rid of the additional heat. The additional horse power and torque will destroy the stock transmission and differentials so you will need to replace with bigger.
Oil should be tapped off just after the oil filter. There is probably a plug somewhere close. Be careful not to starve the rest of the engine for oil. May have to put a oil pressure gage at the end of the oil gallery to monitor minimum oil pressure.
Are you sure you want to "turbo" this engine?
