did you receive the Nissan Service and Maintenance Guide, when you purchased your vehicle? if not go to www.nissanusa.com/pdf/techpubs/2006/2006_N_SMG.pdf
to get the 2006 manual it should be the same, or go to www.nissanusa.com use the "for owners" tab top right and you can download your specfic mileage service

the diagram should be on the outside or inside of the fuse panel cover. Not there? You can go to autozone or advance auto and look at there books for free, or you can ask them to print it for you. If you're not happy with that you can stop at a nissan dealer (used) and look at one of their 2005 models, or ask them to help. They will try to get you to trade in though lol.

Swirl Control Valve
Swirl control valve consists of actuator and valve. The valve is
installed in the intake manifold, and the actuator is connected to the
rear end of the valve shaft.
The swirl control valve uses a step motor which has four winding
phases. It operates according to the output pulse signal of the ECM.
Two windings are turned ON and OFF in sequence. Each time an
ON pulse is issued, the valve opens or closes. When no change in
the control position is needed, the ECM does not issue the pulse signal.
A certain voltage signal is issued so that the valve remains at
that particular opening.
