I have a mitsubishi L200 the four wheel drive symbol is on all time and flashing, also the engine management light is on are the two connected?

key does not come out of ignition

Wat i did was to install a reset button on the 4wd computer and each time it flash . i put it into neutral and press the button . For example If i mistakinly press the 4wd while in park the indictor will flash.I then have to put it in nuutrat press the button and it will stop flash and either select or come off from flashing.

hello mate if it has got lack of power it could have a split vacuum hose on the turbo actuator and there is 5 or 6 hoses at the back of the rocker make sure they are all ok and not split. it sounds like u have no boost so it would put a malfunction in the ecu cause the the boost pressure sensor would be reading incorrectly.

Hi, this is caused by a few things. It might be that the 4x4 switches on the transfer case are sticky or you do not have sufficient vacuum on the front diff actuator which is caused by a hole in one of the vacuum pipes or the vacuum solenoids not operating correctly. You can test the vacuum solenoids with your finger. Start the vehicle and pull off the vacuum pipes connected to the top of the vacuum solenoids. When 2wd is selected you should have vacuum on one solenoid and when 4wd is selected the vacuum should change to the other solenoid.
