Auto trans must be in park if it is then I believe a relay or switch has failed. Check owner manual for possible fuse.

either you have the wrong key,or try turning the steering wheel to the right all the way,then turn key,this usually happens when you park the vehicle and the wheels are turned,then the steering wheel locks hard

your key is probably worn down and needs replaced, but you can try spraying a penetrating oil (WD40 or PB Blaster) into the lock cylinder this sometimes works

try tapping the lock cylinder with a small hammer...some times this will jar the tumblers and allow it to turn...if this works the lock cylinder is going bad and will need replaced

try pushing the agjustment level back once you get the steering wheel where you want it ,, the spring that does that could be broken
