Here's a freebie: go to 'autozone.com enter your car info (year, make, model, engine) click on repair manual, then chassis electrical, then to the far right of screen and down, wiring diagrams. Let me know if u have an trouble locating it.

If you already have speakers there you just switch them out. You would need the same size speakers and you should make sure the + and - on the wires is correct. Crutchfield.com has useful info for most cars.

Well the voice coils in the speakers may be fried, or on their way out. Has anyone been simply turning it up too loud, or too bassy, or at obscene levels.
