SOURCE: When driving my Kubota L245DT
There is a small breather tube located under the seat area on the left side ( as sitting in seat) that needs to be free from dirt and mud doggers . It looks like a U shaped tube with the opening facing downward.
Take a small wire or something solid as such and stick it into the tube end and watch the debris come out.
If this is clogged, the fluid has nowhere else to expand but to the point of least resistance.

these should use gl-4 or 5 (75w 90 or 80w 90). the capacities in the diffs should be about 3 pints. rule is fill until it pours out of the same hole. to be prepared buy about 10 quarts(20 pints). happy holidays

If you are in a fairly hot climate like Australia or Africa a good general diff and gear oil is a 80-90 grade. You cant go wrong with Castrol. By using a fairly heavy grade like this you give better anti wear protection.
