Not enough information. I assume you mean Child Safety Seat when you say 'car seat'? If so, try this:

The LATCH System More than just an awareness program, LATCH is actually an alternative means of installing a car seat. An astonishing number of car seats (by some estimates 80%) would fail CPS check. So this program is an attempt to curb dismal numbers by offering what some consider a simplified installation method. What does it mean? Well, all new vehicles are now equipped with seat belts plus various other mooring components.
If you have a vehicle manufactured after 2002, simply feel around the back seat until you find a couple of heavy metal latches. These are designed to hold the anchors and tethers that come with the new car seats. Thus, you can now hook a car seat into the back of a vehicle without utilizing the seat belts. All the other aspects of securing the seat still apply, so make sure your straps are nice and taut, and that the seat does not move about

Your owner's manual should explain how to install a car seat. If not, you can go to a GM or Chevy dealer and ask for assistance. This is a mandatory safety problem they should not charge you to just assist in installing the seat.

SOURCE: where do you attach hooks to install a carseat using the latch system

ok i have never been in the back seat of one of these cars but the first thing to look for is where they are located for the outer seats . check the back dash and most cars have just two hook areas and are not intended for the middle but to answer your qustion there should be a metal bar in the middle of the seat cushion for the bottom hook and either at the back dash or right at the back of the seat where it meets the dash if it has it

How do I install an infant carseat in the 2004 mazda mpv

Is it a LATCH type seat? The best location is the middle row. There is an anchor in the rear bottom where you can clip the tether. The rest of the seat is secured by threading the warbler through the rear of the child seat.

Which seats are safer for car seat the middle two seater or rear three seater?

The rear seat is optimal due to the passive restraint hook-ups you have in the cargo area, however any position other than the front seat will due as long as you install the carseat following the manufacturer's (of the car seat) directions.

I really want to put carseat covers on the backseat of my 1999 Corolla. I do not see any knobs in my trunk. Is it possible to pull them down?

Check to see if there is a ripcord, it may look like a small strap like loop, pull it away from seat and move the seat to the lower position.

Lift just the front of the *seat*; not the front rail which is fixed and supports the seat.

INFINITI FX carseat

First focus on making sure that the seat is appropriate for your child and has done well in crash tests. Car seats are meant to fit in just about every car although if you have a small backseat you may just need to squish it in more. The type of car you have really shouldnt matter
