Hi, you will have to go deeper to solve this issue. i recommend taking a good look at the valves. you may need to replace the springs and seals. and reset them also. a good look at the cam wouldn't hurt as well.

All the brake lines rust out

Good vehicle,if kept inside, would last, 40 years

Very good ride quality for 18 years, never changed any
which is odd

Im putting a 95 chevy 454 and a 2004 chevy 4l80e automatic transmission into a 1991 chevy 2wd pickup . What wiring harness wil work to make everything work correctly

Thats pretty tough to answer since, harnesess borrow different feeds off the engine harness for when you accelerate to tell the tcm info from the tps sensor....another sensor it reads from is the brake sensor to tell the tcm when to tell the trans to downshift. You really need to seek a qualified technition that knows how to mix harnesses... sorry I couldn't helpout more....sounds like an awesome project. Call a an auto wire harness maker with your info and have them custom make you a harness...

Which transmissions interchange with the 97 Dakota 3.9 automatics ?

Your transmission is the 42RE, formerly A500SE, and A904 way before that. Due to the electronics involved, you would need the computer and associated harness for a manual Dakota if you were thinking about using a non-electronic automatic.

I have a 1988 Dakota 4 by 4 the wiring melted from a hole in the exhaust header now im trying to replace it but I cant find exact year & model. any info on where to find or buy ? I need from fuses on...

go to any parts place and have them check your wiring harness as well as the engines brain box ...a melted hot wire can burn up everything ,,that is a huge expense ..But they can trace your 1 single wire and help you for a few bucks ..Advanced / Auto zone ..God Bless

There are 3 wires coming out of the1985 - 750 r4 transmission what is each one for? It is for a 95 chevy truck that is a 3 speed automatic with overdrive.

Basically there are 2 for the neutral safety switch and the third is for the overdrive. It goes to a vacuum/electric switch normally mounted on the firewall by the heater. Hope this helps.

Im looking for someone to tell me im changeing a 302 motor from a 95 f150 2wd and putting it into a 89 ford f250 4x4 both fuel injected but wireing harness plugs are different is there any easy way i can...

you are going to need to hook up the 95 as if its the 89...so take all harnesses and components and swap them. you have to swap injectors, manifolds ect. the basic engines are the same, but everything else may be differet, you have them both, so you should be able to tell what you can tell what needs to be changed and not. I know the injectors are different, and may not even plug in. .
