Is cranking speed slow? Do a voltage drop test on battery cables.and a high output amp meter to test starter draw. normal ampere draw should be 250-350 amps cold and 300-375 amps hot as engine turns these readings should drop to 200-250 amps if not bad starter.

CADILLAC 2005 CTS-C LS6 ON THE CHEVY 350 WHATS THE COVER FOR THAT LOOKS LIKE A OIL COOLER LINES CONNECTIONS HAS 2 X10MM BOLTS HOLING IT ON BUT CANT FIND ANY LINES OR STOCK OIL COOLER TO ANY INFO

There are 2 possibilities; The pressure relief valve in the oil pump is defective and as the oil warms up and thins down there is a loss of pressure. There is wear in one or more bearing on the crank/camshaft doing basically the same scenario. How do you know its too hot? Are you assuming because it says so it must be correct? Get a cooking thermometer and sample the oil for some idea of temp. Is the oil pressure switch defective? If its possible to access the switch easily can you rig a manual oil gauge to it to double check the pressure is what it says?

2006 Maxima starts ok when cold. Really hard to

Might be an oil issue. Oil when hot might be too thick for the pump to pump the oil easily in the engine. Check that and if not that come back.

98 Escort Hard starting when hot

sounds like a dodgy mis reading of a sensor caused by electrical resistance which is turning choke on and flooding engine.know the fault but without car in front of me its difficult to diagnose, could be auto choke sensor which is on right hand side of cylinder head ,but not sure.best is probally dealer have you tried spark plug gaps ??25th although this would cause problems with cold starting not hot starting but its worth a look
